About

Sara Austin, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist specializing in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine. Austin also serves as the specialty service chief for neurology and the division lead for Seton Brain and Spine neurology. When Austin isn’t seeing patients or teaching residents and fellows, she can be found advocating for health care at the legislative level. She has been listed as a Texas Super Doctor and Best Austin Doctor multiple times and is a favorite among patients and residents. A longtime, active member of the Texas Neurological Society, Austin was recently awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award honoring members in the state for outstanding service to her patients and the specialty.
