Sally Monahan, DNP, CPNP-PC

Sally Monahan, DNP, CPNP, is an advanced practice provider in the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center within UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s and an advanced practice nurse in the Department of Neurology. Monahan earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The Ohio State University and her Master of Science in maternal child health from the University of Cincinnati. She has served as a pediatric epilepsy provider since 2002, when she joined the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Her clinical interests include improving the quality of life for children with epilepsy and screening for mental health comorbidities. She has presented at numerous conferences and has written several peer-reviewed publications. She is a member of the American Epilepsy Society, the Child Neurology Society and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
