About

Ronald Shapiro, M.D., is a board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist Consulting Clinician within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. He specializes in general pediatric cardiology and echocardiography.

Shapiro earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina, School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics and internal medicine at Indiana University Medical Center and his fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Shapiro is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology and Society of Pediatric Echocardiography.
