About
Rebecca Teng is an affiliate faculty member within the Department of Women’s Health at Dell Medical School, and she practices at Lone Star Circle of Care. Teng also serves as the women’s health medical director for Superior HealthPlan, Centene Corporation. She graduated with highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Plan II and Spanish. While at UT, she was chosen as a Dean’s Distinguished Graduate for the College of Liberal Arts and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Teng completed her medical degree at the UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. During her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, she received awards in medical education, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, patient advocacy and outpatient care. In private practice, Teng was selected as “Rookie of the Year” at Morton Hospital in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Teng was honored in the New Member Spotlight for the Travis County Medical Society Journal in 2015 and earned the NAMS-certified menopause practitioner credential in 2016. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, menopause, obstetrics and preventive care.
