About

Nicholas Phelps, Ph.D., M.A., is an assistant professor in the departments of Medical Education and Population Health. He currently serves as co-director of Dell Medical School’s Primary Care, Family, and Community Medicine Clerkship and as the director of educational program development and scholarship for the Department of Population Health. His research interests include quality improvement and professional identity formation in undergraduate medical education.

Prior to joining Dell Med in 2016, Phelps worked in a variety of roles as a K-12 education and higher education student academic services administrator.
