About

Mitchell Todd, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in the assessment and behavioral intervention of young children with behavioral, emotional and neurodevelopmental concerns. He provides evidence-based interventions for families of young children with significant disruptive, defiant and aggressive or destructive behaviors.

Todd practices a variety of evidence-based parent training models and is a certified parent-child interaction therapy therapist. He also conducts best-practice psychological assessments for a wide range of concerns, including autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, and behavioral and conduct disorders, as well as anxiety and mood disorders. Todd practices at the Texas Child Study Center within the Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Todd earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Central Michigan University. He completed both his internship and fellowship in child clinical and pediatric psychology at Dell Medical School and Dell Children’s Medical Center, with a focus in assessment and treatment of children with developmental disabilities.

His research interests include the impact of parenting a child with developmental disabilities on family dynamics, the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based parent training interventions for behavioral concerns, and the use of technology to enhance access, intervention efficiency and clinician training models.
