About
Michael T. Koltz is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery.
He received his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Maryland, which cares for all adult patients with neurosurgical disorders at the University Center, R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and VA Baltimore Medical Center, as well as pediatric patients at Johns Hopkins University.
Koltz has completed two fellowships. In 2009-2010, he worked with J. Marc Simard, M.D., Ph.D., as the research fellow of the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Cerebrovascular Section. In 2012-2013, he completed the prestigious neuroendovascular surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University.
He is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
