Michael Bebbington, M.D.

About

Michael Bebbington, M.D., is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist, professor in Dell Medical School’s Department of Women’s Health and the co-director of the Comprehensive Fetal Care Center, a clinical partnership between Del Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. Bebbington completed his medical degree from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. He later went on to receive his Master of Health Science in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of British Columbia. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McMaster University. Bebbington completed two maternal-fetal medicine fellowship programs, one with the University of British Columbia and the other at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.

Bebbington joined Dell Med in 2021. Before joining, Bebbington served as a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. During his time with Washington University, Bebbington served as the director of the Fetal Care Center.

Bebbington’s clinical and research interests include all aspects of fetal care and intervention, and he is an internationally recognized expert in fetal care. He has over 100 peer-reviewed publications and has been an invited speaker and presenter at a wide variety of conferences. He is a current member of the North American Fetal Therapy Network, the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
