About

Meghan Straub, M.S., APRN, CPNP-AC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the neurosurgery program at UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s. She specializes in treating pediatric patients with an array of neurosurgical conditions, including brain and spine tumors, epilepsy, trauma, intracranial vascular anomalies, spina bifida and Chiari malformations. She began her career as a clinical assistant during nursing school and worked as a bedside nurse in Colorado after graduating. She later moved to Austin, where she assisted in opening and developing the Dell Children’s neurosciences inpatient rehab unit.

Straub completed her master’s degree in nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner – acute care.
