About

Max Holtz, M.D., MPH, is an assistant professor in the Department of Women’s Health.

Holtz came to Dell Medical School from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where he completed his residency. He received a master’s degree in public health from Washington University in St. Louis and then his degree in medicine from Saint Louis University.

Holtz’s special interests include general obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, colposcopy and working with residents and medical students.

Holtz lives in Austin with his wife and they enjoy spending time in the outdoors, cooking and live music.
