Margaret Goss, MSN, CPNP-PC

Maggie Goss, MSN, CPNP-PC, is an advanced practice nurse in the Department of Neurology and a licensed pediatric nurse practitioner in the cardiac and neurodevelopment program within UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., after which she worked as a nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit in Fairfax, Virginia. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2016.

Goss worked initially as a nurse practitioner in physical medicine and rehabilitation treating children with brain and spinal cord injuries, including patients she had seen previously in the NICU. She then transitioned to the specialty of neurology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. There she treated children with strokes and tuberous sclerosis as well as focused on the neurodevelopment of patients with congenital heart disease. She’s relocated to Austin, Texas, to help build the cardiac and neurodevelopment program at Dell Children’s Medical Center.
