Marci Anderson

About

Marci Anderson joined Dell Medical School’s institutional priorities, outreach and events team in March 2022 as a development specialist. She brings to the role over 20 years of progressive expertise in areas ranging from philanthropy and education to nonprofit leadership, business operations, program management, corporate event planning,and change management.

Anderson earned her Bachelor of Science in microbiology, with honors and a pre-med emphasis, from The University of Texas at Austin. In her role at Dell Med, Marci is dedicated to advancing institutional priorities, enhancing outreach efforts and orchestrating impactful events, aligning with her passion for education and philanthropy.

Outside of work, Anderson can be found scoping out the next local concert, cheering on the Longhorns or attending an Austin FC match. Anderson has a passion for health and wellness, holding several sports nutrition and personal training certifications, and provides nutrition and fitness coaching for family, friends and clients in her spare time. She enjoys staying active whether it is in the weight room, yoga studio, hiking or participating in various sports such as soccer or swimming. Her commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond her professional life, as she actively engages in volunteer work with several local nonprofit organizations and the church community.
