About

Kristin Vinueza, APRN, FNP, is a licensed family nurse practitioner in UT Health Austin’s Primary Care Clinic. Vinueza earned both her bachelor’s in nursing and master’s in nursing at The University of Texas at Austin. She has more than 20 years of experience serving as a nurse in obstetrics, family practice and internal medicine. She currently specializes in adult preventative care and management of acute and chronic conditions. Vinueza has a passion for preventative health, collaborative care and providing patient education.

She enjoys acting as a preceptor to student nurse practitioners and has been appointed as an adjunct clinical affiliate with UT’s School of Nursing. She is an active member of Texas Nursing Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
