Katherine Boos, MPH, APRN

About

Katherine “Katie” Boos, M.S., MPH, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the pediatric and adolescent gynecology division within Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and Dell Medical School. Boos obtained her master’s and nurse practitioner training at Boston College. While in Boston, she had the opportunity to train with clinical experts in family medicine, infectious disease and gynecology at MGH, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center.

She holds an MPH in maternal and child health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also received bachelor’s degrees in public policy and women’s studies. Boos’ clinical experience is in family medicine and preventive medicine, with a focus on women’s health. Her clinical administrative roles have focused on quality metrics and practice management for medically complex patients. Her interests include innovative delivery of care models and clinician training on the provision of patient-centered, inclusive, trauma-informed care. Prior to becoming a clinician, Boos worked in HIV research as well as STD and pregnancy prevention in teens and young adults.
