About
Jianzhong Ji is a neonatologist at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. She grew up in China and graduated from the University of Qingdao. Ji practiced as an ophthalmologist in China for years. She has a Ph.D. of neuroscience from the University of Hong Kong. She completed her postdoctoral training at the Baylor College of Medicine. She did her residency training at Texas Tech University and a neonatology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Ji is interested in the nutrition and growth of preterm infants. She is involved in multiple research projects.
Ji is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and she is the medical director of the newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care unit at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.
