Jess Ambiee, LCSW-S, ACHP-SW

Jess Ambiee, LCSW-S, ACHP-SW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the UT Medicine Comprehensive Memory Center. He is also a part of UT Medicine’s Health Social Work care team. He specializes in counseling, grief and loss, and advanced care planning, and he provides support and resources to individuals living with dementia and their families. Additionally, Jess Ambiee is an assistant professor of practice in The University of Texas at Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work.

Jess Ambiee earned his master’s degree in applied cultural anthropology from the University of South Florida and a second master’s degree in social work from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also an advanced certified hospice and palliative social worker and served as a The University of Texas at Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work Field Instructor for the past two years.

Jess Ambiee serves as a volunteer community educator with the Alzheimer’s Association and is involved with ongoing research projects within UT Medicine’s Comprehensive Memory Center.
