About
Jennifer Siegel-Ramsay, Ph.D., is interested in understanding brain networks and behaviors associated with emotional control and resilience. Early in her career, she worked across several psychiatric research studies investigating the relationship between genetics, mental health outcomes and neuropathology at the University of New South Wales, Kings College London and University College London. She developed her neuroimaging experience while completing her doctoral thesis at the University of Edinburgh investigating prefrontal cortex function and metabolite concentrations in individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
Her current research interests include characterizing early neurodevelopmental vulnerabilities to psychosocial stress that underly emotional dysregulation, alcohol abuse and the onset of mood disorders.
