About
Jacqueline Posada, M.D. is board certified in general adult psychiatry and consultation liaison psychiatry which is the care of individuals with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions. She is an assistant professor within Dell Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Clinically, she spends her time taking care of a variety of individuals with medical conditions, both in the medical hospital at Dell Seton Medical Center and in her outpatient consultation-liaison clinic. Her goal is to help individuals cope with the profound effect that medical conditions have on their lives. Her other professional interests include mindfulness-based stress reduction, specialty care of Latino and Spanish-speaking populations, mental health equity and expanding mental health resources throughout Texas.
