About

Holly Gunn, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed both a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in obstetric anesthesiology at the University of Washington Medical Center.

Gunn is an affiliate faculty member in the Division of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. Gunn also works with the Comprehensive Fetal Care Center, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas and UT Health Austin. She specializes in administering anesthesia to pregnant mothers undergoing complex fetal surgery. Prior to her appointment at Dell Med, Gunn was an assistant clinical professor of anesthesia at the University of Washington for four years, and she spent the vast majority of her time teaching obstetric anesthesia. She also has an interest in ethics and is currently chairing the ASMCA Ethics Integration Committee.
