About
Erin Rodriguez, Ph.D., is a courtesy assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Rodriguez studies family and sociocultural influences on children’s coping and adaptation to stress. She focuses on families of children with chronic illness such as pediatric cancer and asthma. She also studies coping and health outcomes in bilingual Latino youths, with a focus on reducing health disparities. Her work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the St. David’s Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research and the Society of Pediatric Psychology.
Rodriguez is also an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Psychology in The University of Texas at Austin College of Education.
