Cindy Hernandez, M.D.

Cindy Hernandez, M.D., M.S., is a pediatric neuroimmunologist who has a special interest in Down syndrome regression disorder. She received a master’s in medical science from The University of North Texas Health Science Center and her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She then completed a child neurology residency and a combined pediatric neuroimmunology and experimental therapeutics fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society and is a strong advocate for underrepresented patient populations.
