Chesney Castleberry, M.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics.
Castleberry is also a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and the medical director for the Heart Failure, VAD and Transplant Program within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, the clinical partnership between UT Health Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric heart failure and transplant.
Castleberry earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed a residency in pediatrics at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and a fellowship in pediatric heart failure and transplant at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
