About
Brittany Tanner, MHA, serves as the administrative leader responsible for developing and managing operations, budget, clinical strategy, academic progress and growth opportunities for the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Institute within the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at Dell Medical School. In partnership with the division chief of orthopaedic surgery, she oversees the strategic priorities and growth of clinical programs, education offerings, faculty relations, research portfolio and opportunities for community impact.
Tanner has held various administrative leadership positions within academic and corporate medicine, with comprehensive experience in finance, business development and clinical practice management. Most of Tanner’s experience comes from her time at Johns Hopkins Medicine in the Department of Dermatology. She earned her Master of Health Administration from Texas A&M Health Science Center and her Bachelor of Science in biomedical science, with a minor in Business, from Texas A&M University.
