Brigid Keenan

Brigid Keenan is the administrative manager for Kiran Shokar, M.D., MPH, professor and chair of population health. Keenan joined Dell Med in 2014 to assist in the early efforts of the strategy and partnerships team to launch new initiatives, advance innovation and build public, private and academic partnerships; but found herself drawn to the population health department’s connectivity with the community and mission to improve health and access to care for everyone in the greater Austin area.

Prior to Dell Med, Keenan held positions assisting CEOs and senior executives at several publicly traded companies and worked as an assistant in the Michigan Governor’s office. Keenan arrived in Austin, Texas in 2004. She has previously lived in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Michigan State University.
