Ben Taylor

Benjamin Taylor serves as associate director of development, major gifts and leadership giving at the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.

A native Austinite, Taylor is excited to be part of the team that is working to improve the health of our community and re-thinking the role of a medical school. He looks forward to sharing stories about the impact of Dell Med’s research and care efforts as they reshape Austin. Taylor originally joined the Dell Med team in February 2020 as a development associate and has since grown into his current role as an associate director.

Previously, Taylor demonstrated success working for a Fortune 500 mortgage company. Prior to that position, he worked in an economic development program, teaching business executives English in Santiago, Chile.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management with a focus in international business. Outside work, Taylor enjoys visiting national and state parks, learning about new Austin projects and exploring the music and restaurant scene.
