About

Arjun Mahendran, M.D., is a pediatric and adult congenital cardiologist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between UT Health Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center. He specializes in long-term outcome research in adults with congenital heart disease, with a focus on those with Fontan physiology.

Mahendran received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica. He completed his general pediatric residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita, his pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida and his advanced adult congenital cardiology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s. Mahendran is board-certified in pediatrics, and pediatric cardiology.

Mahendran is dedicated to providing comprehensive congenital heart disease care for patients of all ages. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology.
