About
Anthony Manuel is an assistant professor for the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. He is a fellowship-trained, board-certified anesthesiologist who has been in practice in Austin since 2002. He has held leadership roles both within his group and for Ascension Seton. He is the president of the network medical staff for Ascension Seton.
Manuel serves as the anesthesia representative for the Dell Medical School faculty council in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care and is the chair of the Department Faculty Council. He is completing work on a Master of Medical Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Manuel served as a research scholar for TEDMED 2017. He has an interest in improving health care delivery using technology.
