Anne Shires, M.A.

Anne Shires, M.A., serves as senior director of development, operations, finance and shared resources in Dell Medical School’s development office, providing leadership support for its administrative team. She manages the business, finance, recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training for the development team, translates team goals into deliverables and targets and drives success through the standardization of processes.

Prior to joining Dell Medical School, Shires served as the member relations manager at Texas Performing Arts at The University of Texas at Austin. She managed member and donor profiles and coordinated donor special events.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art history, with a minor in business administration, from Texas State University and a master’s in art history, specializing in 19th-century European art, from American University in Washington, D.C.

Outside of work, Shires enjoys traveling, gardening, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
