Ann Czarnik, M.D., FACEP

Ann Czarnik is a affiliate faculty in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. She moved to Austin to work for ESP and to become a part of the development of the UT Austin EM residency program. She finished residency at Johns Hopkins University, and went on to work in Baltimore before moving to Texas. She has been a faculty member here since 2009. Her academic interests are curriculum and skills lab.

She loves living here in Austin with her husband Jason and son Ben. She spends her free time kayaking and stand up paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake, taking Ben to the pool, and trying out the restaurants and food carts around town. She also loves to travel and can’t wait to start showing the world to her son.
