This position will lead a team of principal gift officers and personally carry a principal gift portfolio of 50-80 prospects. They will develop outreach and cultivation strategy for Dell Medical School leadership and in support of the UT Austin healthcare vision.
This position will professionally plan, manage and/or assist with key institutional-level in-person, virtual and hybrid events as assigned with a high level of detail, a unique donor-focused experience, and in accordance with the Dell Med brand. Examples include, but not limited to: Lectureships, Grand Rounds, White Coat Ceremony, salon dinners, annual donor events, campaign events, commencement, major and principal gift prospect events.
This position provides administrative support for up to three gift officers and supports the daily operations of the Office of Development. Tasks include managing calendars, fielding phone calls, scheduling donor and prospect visits; donor outreach touch points and correspondence, running reports, submitting travel requests and reimbursements, and assisting with research associated with prospect identification and qualification.
This position will execute principal gift donor cultivation and advancement strategies and will be key in building and strengthening relationships with top donors through advisory board management. This role will advance long- and short-term strategies, provide advisory board management and co-implement annual individualized donor engagement plans to advance donor engagement strategies. They are responsible for measuring progress, as well as oversight of the analysis of donor interactions and cultivation to solicitation outcomes.
