About
Samantha Dallefeld, M.D., received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas and attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. After her pediatrics residency at Dell Medical School, Dallefeld completed a research fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute alongside a pediatric critical care fellowship at Duke University Hospital.
Dallefeld has a passion for providing up-to-date, evidenced-based critical care medicine, which she fulfills both in her clinical work and through her participation in a number of multicenter research trials aiming to advance the field of pediatric intensive care. She is also interested in productive uses of social media and educates about pediatric critical care under the Instagram handle @samdeemd. Dallefeld is married to her husband, John, and she has one daughter. Along with their dogs, they enjoy traveling, hiking and most anything outdoors.
