Nancy D. Doolittle, DNP, MBA

Nancy Doolittle, DNP, MBA, RN, NE-BC, serves as chief nurse executive for Dell Medical School and UT Health Austin. A strategic and outcomes-driven nurse leader, she is recognized for advancing excellence in patient care, workforce engagement, and academic–clinical integration.

Prior to joining UT, Doolittle served as system chief nursing officer at UT Health San Antonio, where she led nursing practice across hospitals, ambulatory centers and research facilities, driving measurable gains in quality, safety and patient satisfaction. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to operational excellence, professional development and the evolving role of nursing in modern health systems.

Doolittle earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in leadership from Waynesburg University and holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
