About

Moe Hein Aung, M.D., Ph.D., also known as Harry, is originally from Myanmar (Burma) and first came to United States for undergraduate studies at Grinnell College in Iowa. He then completed his M.D. and Ph.D. at Emory University in Atlanta. Afterward, he moved to Philadelphia for his neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and stayed there to finish his neuro-ophthalmology fellowship. Aung is fluent in English and proficient in Burmese and Mandarin. He is excited to live in Austin to establish the next chapter of his life with his young family.
