About

Lee M. Reichel is an associate professor in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. He is an orthopaedic surgeon who has completed accredited fellowship training in both hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington and orthopaedic trauma at the University of Minnesota.

Reichel has clinical interests in complex fractures of the elbow, forearm and wrist, as well as care of common hand and upper-extremity problems including carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger and Dupuytren’s disease. His research interests involve both traumatic and nontraumatic conditions. His educational interests include acting as the subspecialty director for the orthopaedic surgery hand surgery rotations. His community interests include directing a monthly community hand conference for hand surgeons, hand therapists and other related health care providers.
