About

Kimberly Golde, M.D., is an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology at Dell Medical School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with highest honors. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine with high honors. Following an internship at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Golde completed her residency in ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School. After her residency, she served as an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine, where she spent time taking care of patients as well as teaching both residents and students in the clinical setting and in the operating room.

Golde is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society and the Austin Ophthalmology Society. She lives in Austin with her husband, Nick, and their two children.
