About

Amanda White joined Dell Medical School from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she was an assistant professor in obstetrics and gynecology. She completed both her medical degree and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern followed by a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

White’s research focuses on vulvar functioning pain, and her publications have been published in high-impact journals such as the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Current Women’s Health Reviews, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has received honors at regional and national levels, including Best Scientific Paper and Excellence in Teaching Medical Students. Her work has been supported by several grants through Boston Scientific and Astellas, and she has presented several posters on the national and international platform.

White serves as an adviser and mentor to students, residents, and fellows. She is an active member of numerous Dell Med committees, including the Surgery Performance Improvement Council, the Operating Room Operations and Governance Committee, and the Integrated Practice Unit’s Clinical Development and Leadership Team.
