About
Richard Peters is an emergency physician and the technology innovation lead at Dell Medical School. He came to Dell Medical School from Silicon Valley and clinical practice with Kaiser Permanente. He lectures in evidence-based medicine at the University of California, San Diego, and literature and film in the humanities program at Dell Med.
He was founder and CEO of two electronic health records companies: Oceania and iTRUST. Peters also founded ScratchTrack and PTRx, and served on the board of Medical Present Value. He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, and his medical degree and post-graduate training from the University of California, San Diego. Peters was a Cinematography Fellow at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and has an Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing from New York University.
