Chris Higgins

About

Chris Higgins is the associate vice president of development at Dell Medical School. He leads all aspects of the school’s comprehensive development efforts, including leadership and management of the university’s What Starts Here campaign.

Prior to joining at Dell Med, Higgins served for six years as the chief development officer in the Cockrell School of Engineering. With over 15 years of higher education development experience, he has held leadership positions at The Ohio State University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Higgins received his B.A. from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Illinois. Higgins enjoys staying active and is an avid golfer and sports fan. During fall Saturdays, he can be found cheering on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes football team. Higgins and his wife, Karen, have a daughter and live in Austin.
