Clinical Care

Partners in Care

Partners in Care, a collaboration between UT Health AustinAscension Seton and Dell Children’s Medical Center, brings together the clinical acumen of leading health care entities and their associated expert medical professionals to create innovative new clinical programs in Central Texas.

The Dell Children’s Medical Group Pediatrics Mueller diagnoses, treats and manages all aspects of preventive, wellness and sick-child care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults (birth through 21 years of age), with the goal to provide convenient care for preventative health care needs and unexpected, non-life-threatening minor illnesses and injuries.

The Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease offers comprehensive care for children and adults with heart diseases and defects, including aortic coarctation, congenital heart disease, heart failure, pulmonary atresia, pulmonary valve stenosis, single ventricle defects, ventricular septal defects and more.

UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s diagnoses, treats and manages the care of children and adolescents with medical conditions of the central nervous system, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, congenital abnormalities, movement disorders, headaches, genetic conditions, neurodevelopmental disorders, brain tumors, and acquired brain injuries, such as head injuries, neurological infections, and strokes.

Pediatric and adolescent gynecology services are available to treat and manage gynecologic conditions affecting children and adolescents (21 years and younger), from ovarian cysts in the neonate to problems with puberty or difficulties with periods.

UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children’s diagnoses treats and manages the care of children and adolescents with behavioral and mental health disorders as well as medical conditions resulting in a decline in functioning who need a higher level of advanced care than traditional outpatient treatment services.

The Comprehensive Fetal Care Center offers diagnosis, treatment and management of complex and rare fetal conditions, including fetal heart anomalies, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, urinary tract abnormalities, twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and neural tube defects, such as spina bifida.

Simulation Center at Dell Children’s

The department partners with Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas to operate the Simulation Center at Dell Children’s — an innovative program that strives aims to improve the delivery of care to patients and communities through innovative, immersive simulation that optimizes team performance and empowers clinicians, teachers, learners and researchers to achieve medical excellence.
