About

Tania Eid, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics. She is also a pediatric hospitalist at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.

Eid is originally from the Houston area and became a proud Longhorn in 2008 after attending The University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate studies. She has stayed in the UT family since, earning her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and returning to Austin for her pediatrics residency at Dell Medical School, where she also acted as chief resident. Eid developed a new interdisciplinary curriculum that is now utilized in the residency program, as her primary interests are medical education and patient safety.
