About
Susan Dubois specializes in endocrinology and teaches kinesiology and health education in the College of Education in addition to her work at Dell Medical School. She served on the faculty of the Internal Medicine Department, Endocrinology Section, of the Austin Medical Education Programs in October 2001 after a period of private practice in Austin. She then accepted a position as assistant professor of medicine, Section of Endocrinology and Metabolism, with West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Dubois received the Humanitarian Award as well as an honorable mention in the fifth and sixth annual International Women’s Day Awards. Dubois serves as an endocrinologist and consultant for diabetes programs in clinics around the Austin area. She completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and did her residency at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she also served as chief resident in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dubois finished her fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at UT Southwestern Medical School.
