About

Mitra Mohanty serves as a faculty member for the Heart Rhythm Society annual congress, lecturer for the College of Natural Sciences at UT Austin, and is an adjunct professor for Austin Community College. She also directs research for the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute. Mohanty shares her education and skills by advising and mentoring her students and residents, or fellows. As a researcher, she has demonstrated exceptional ability and strong research competency by independently designing, conducting and completing several research studies. Many students speak highly of her teaching abilities. Mohanty is very open-minded and receptive to new ideas and suggestions. Her colleagues admire her punctuality when completing a task or workload.
