About
Khang D. Nguyen, M.D., is the director of inpatient dermatology at Ascension Seton Medical Center and Dell Seton Medical Center. A graduate of Yale College and Harvard Medical School, Nguyen completed his internship in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and his dermatology residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Nguyen’s clinical interests include general dermatology, autoimmune blistering diseases and inpatient dermatologic care. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles relating to inpatient dermatologic care, novel viral skin diseases and costs of care. He has also served as chair of the health information technology committee of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Born and raised in Texas, Nguyen enjoys music, sand volleyball and swimming in his free time.
