About
Jameel R. Johnson, M.D., is an experienced hospitalist having previously worked in both private and academic settings over the last 10 years. Johnson has professional interests in medical research, resident education and hospital medicine.
Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, and he obtained his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. While in medical school, he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellow. Following his medical school graduation, Johnson also completed postbaccalaureate research at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Johnson later completed both his internal medicine internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine.
In his spare time, Johnson is an avid swimmer. He also enjoys science fiction novels and films.
