About
Carlos Meza, M.D., serves as co-director for the hospital medicine co-management services, partnership with surgical subspecialists.
Meza earned his medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center and completed his residency training in internal medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
At Dell Med, he served as the inaugural chief of hospital medicine and interim associate chair for clinical integration and operations. Under his guidance, he developed a talented, strong and resilient hospital medicine division that has enhanced patient care at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas and positioned Dell Med as a center of excellence in hospital medicine training. He is passionate about provider well-being, quality improvement, medical education and patient experience.
