About

Arianne “Cuff” Baker, M.D. is a practicing pediatric emergency medicine physician at Dell Children’s Medical Center in addition to her faculty appointment at Dell Medical School. Baker is a dedicated teacher and mentor for students, residents and fellows. Her interests include medical education and simulation across professions and specialities. She has published research work in a breadth of pediatric emergency medicine topics, including disaster preparation and child abuse.

Baker is currently involved in research in just-in-time procedural skills training and using generative artificial intelligence for simulation scenario development. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Graduate Medical Education. Baker is also the emergency department representative for the Dell Children’s simulation program executive committee.
