About

Sikander Adeni, M.D., is an affiliate faculty member within the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. After completing his neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship, he moved to Austin in 2001 to join Mednax Medical Group. Adeni has a particular interest in severe respiratory failure in newborns and pulmonary hypertension of the newborn. His additional interests include neonatal ethics, teaching trainees and neonatal care in the delivery room. He believes that it is a great honor to be able to help infants and their families during times of stress and illness. Outside of work, Adeni enjoys travel, tennis, gardening, reading, amateur history, and philosophy.
