About

Jennifer Aranda came to Dell Medical School from the University of Texas Southwestern, where she was a clinical instructor for the Department of Dermatology. She completed her medical degree at Emory University and went on to complete her residency in dermatology at the UT Southwestern after an internship at Atlanta Medical Center.

Aranda’s special interest and area of expertise is in the treatment and diagnosis of vulvar disease. Her research has been published in high-impact journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, and she has co-authored two textbook chapters. She has received a number of honors and awards including the Outstanding Teacher Award from UT Southwestern and the Women’s Dermatologic Society Membership Award.

When she is not working, Aranda enjoys volunteering locally as well as camping, reading and spending time with her husband and two sons.
