About
Eda Baykal-Caglar is the director of education and research for CommUnityCare Health Centers and affiliate faculty in the Department of Population Health. She is responsible for the leadership and administration of educational and research initiatives in CommUnityCare. She actively collaborates for research projects and oversees project implementation within CommUnityCare Health Centers. Baykal-Caglar studied physics and teaching physics at Bogazici University in Turkey, and moved to the U.S. for graduate school. She received her Master of Science in biotechnology and Doctor of Philosophy in biophysics at Texas Tech University.
