About

Austin Hill, M.D., MPH, is native Austinite and board-certified orthopaedic trauma surgeon offering skilled, efficient and compassionate care. Fellowship-trained in the treatment of complex orthoapedic trauma, including fractures and soft tissue injuries, he provides the highest level of care with optimal patient outcomes.

Hill helps lead Dell Medical School’s Orthopaedic Surgery Residency, where he works to advance the field of musculoskeletal care and training the next generation of physicians and surgeons. In addition to academic leadership and research, he also holds several area leadership positions, including chief of orthopaedic surgery and vice chief of the medical staff at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas.

Hill has been recognized by his peers as an Austin Monthly Top Doctor in 2022 and 2023.
